Building a Calgary Success Story
George Brookman has a life story fit for the big screen. Starting out as a grocery clerk at age 16, Brookman heeded his fathers advice and moved into the real estate market. It's there where George was able to make things happen for himself. Starting out at Manulife and eventually Atco, Brookman would eventually be responsible for much of the inner city development of both Calgary and Edmonton, Alberta. As if not enough, Brookman purchased West Canadian Printing which gave him a great reputation as a "business man's" business man. This move helped opened the largest door of all for Brookman, a seat on the board and eventual role as president of the Calgary Stampede.Calgary | Atco | 710501 | Success | George Brookman | Stampede | West Canadian | Printing | Story
